The 43rd Annual Fair is only a few weeks away. Among the many exciting things we've planned are carnival rides,  performances by local sensations, PANIC BUTTON & the return of the mechanical bull.

Why wait until September to enjoy the fair.  Join the fun as a member of our Fair Volunteer Corps. 
No experience is necessary - just a willingness to help and a few hours of time.  You'll help make the fair a success, have lots of fun and maybe get a sneak peak at what's new this year.  So, don't hesitate.  It's time to get involved.

Everyone Loves A Parade

Whether you join in the parade as a participant, or cheer from the sidelines, a parade is on everyone's list of favorite family traditions.  The 43rd New Kent County Fair kicks off a weekend of family fun with a parade on Saturday, September 13.  The fun begins at 10am on the racetrack at Colonial Downs.  Leading the parade is Charles Moss, Grand Marshall for 2014. He will be followed by representatives from the police and fire departments, bands, pageant winners and local service organizations, plus much more. 

Individuals and groups residing in New Kent are welcome to participate.  To enter the parade, download an application.

One of the most anticipated and popular events, the Miss New Kent County Fair Pageant will be held on Sept. 7.  Registration Deadline is  August 23.

If you are interested in entering and do  not live in New Kent County,  you can register for  the Miss Friend of the Fair  Pageant.
